This is less of a saving post, than a very good deal post.
You may have seen a few NetFlix ads on the coupon pages, well today I joined up with them to see what it was all about, and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. Netflix, as many of you probably know, have just come to Canada and is available in their instant streaming format. The basic idea is you activate a device to their system, choose a video and it starts to play.
I was very skeptical about it at first, but they are offering a months free trial, so I have nothing to loose.

The first thing I did was went to their site and joined. Normal sort of form and pretty painless. Next I started up our Nintendo Wii system and downloaded their app from the Wii shop. This took all of about 2 minutes to do. Back on the Wii home page I clicked on the Netflix channel and up popped a code I had to enter on their website. This activates the Wii system against my account. If this sounds all long winded to do, trust me, it is taking longer to type it out than to actually do it. Their setup if very well thought out.
Once I had activated the Wii I browsed to a movie (Horton Hears a Who!) and it played instantly. I say instantly, I guess there was a 5 second delay, but that is as instant as I could ever imagine. The quality was superb! Full HD quality and not once did it buffer, judder, stop, or hiccup.
I have to be honest, I was expecting the worse, but it was just like watching a DVD the quality was that good.
PROS -
1. The speed and quality has to be seen to be believed.
2. The free trial - 1 month free with no obligations.
3. Watch on loads of different devices, including ipods and ipads.
4. Streaming on demand.
5. Ideal for my little girl, who likes shows again and agian!
6. $7.99 a month! - for ALL the movies you want.
CONS -
1. The selection. - Although there is a good choice, they may not have the latest stuff just yet.
To Start Your Free Trial Now, Click On An AD On The Coupons Page.
All in all, for $7.99 a month they will have me as a customer for a very long time. There is a good selection of programs and videos for everyone. My 15 month old girl has her Wonder Pets, and I can even get the complete series of Red Dwarf and Fawlty Towers that I loved as a kid back in the UK.

So here we are mid November, and just over a month before Christmas. The stores have already been stacked with decorations for a few weeks now. Houses around me here are slowly getting the Christmas lights put up on the house, and the lit wire reindeer are starting to appear on front lawns.
Now is the time you should really start thinking about buying Christmas gifts, and digging out the box of lights, and dusting down the Christmas tree.
With the economy as it is right now, things are tight for most, and many of us need a way to stretch our dollar at this time of year. So why not share your ideas of how you get through to January without feeling the need to take scissors to your credit card.
As far as decorations go, I love going down to the dollar stores. For 20 bucks you can easily get all the decorations you need to make any tree sparkle even without lights. I also try and buy decorations a year ahead, so when they all go on sale in January I did through to find the 60% off bargains. They seem to bring the same decorations out each Christmas time, so I don't see any difference between buying this year or last year, except it is a lot less and I have had to store it all year.
So, how do you spend your hard earned dollars over Christmas?

oneCOUPON was contacted a few weeks ago to see if we would be interested in sponsoring a giveaway on the makeup review site I mentioned before, www.hotnewmakeup.com.
My wife, who reads their site often, managed to get hold of the email and now it seems that we are sponsoring their latest giveaway :) I keep telling her that she won't be allowed to enter if we are sponsoring it, but that didn't seems to change anything.
So, please go an check out their site, and enter this fantastic giveaway (from Monday 30th August). Have a read around, I am told they have some good stuff to read. Click here to enter.
If you are visiting us from their site, you are probably looking for the number of Save.ca coupons we have listed right now. If so, click here and that page should tell you.
For everyone entering, I wish you the best of luck and please come back and post if you are one of the winners.

As always these coupons will be checked everyday so you will know what is current and what has been removed.
You can find the link for the WebSaver coupons under the coupons link above.
We have also fixed a small problem with the CouponClick database. These coupons are now showing properly.

We have upgraded our flyers engine, and you can now search in 3 of the main tech flyers each week. These are BestBuy, FutureShop, and Staples. The flyers get loaded in a text format which means you can search dor deals quickly between them, or use it to see if there is a price match to be made.
Either go to our computers flyers section or click on one of the Computer Flyers links on the main flyers page.

The oneCOUPON.ca coupon trading script has just been added to our site. You can find the trading lists under the coupons link at the top, then the Coupon Trade Lists on the side. At the moment I have just added a few of my extra coupons in there, and I will add the rest I have as I get time.
To add coupons all you have to do is log in and then click in the Trading List sub navigation button. This will take you to a page where you can add in your coupons and write out a wish list for coupons you want. It's dead easy and pretty quick.
This new section is very dependant on you using it. Our aim is to help everyone save money. We all have a few extra coupons we pick up, or the ones that come in the mail or in flyers that we just don't use. Help someone else out by adding in your extra coupons. You might have a lot of pet coupons, but no pets. Someone might have a dog and want the money off dog food coupons and have loads of diaper coupons they don't need. We should be able to all help each other.
With a little bit of effort, we can all save more money each week.
What I want to do with my list is use it as a oneCOUPON list where I promise I won't take coupons from. I will slowly add to it as much as I can and when someone wants something from my list I will ask them to just replace the coupons with equal or greater value. This way over time I should be able to build up a large list that everyone should be able to get something from.
With all of your help, I hope to make this a big part of what oneCOUPON is about.
